It needs to go into the kde dir of the SuSE packages, I think that's 
/opt/kde3 on SuSE 8.2. And you must make sure to have kdebase-devel, 
openldap2-devel and pilot-link-devel installed (dependencies will install 
the other necessary RPMs).
