>wrong: /kolab/etc/rc all start

>right: /kolab/etc/rc.d/rc.monit start

k, well this didn't get installed on my system. Checking with the QIM again...
This is really confusing:

The anouncement:

http://lists.kde.org/?l=kroupware&m=104427963927863&w=2

The directory in the ftp side that's inside the anouncement doesn't contain
all the necessary packages, but is does contain a QIM. After opening the QIM
I read that I first have to make some preparations. These preparations look
like a realy short summary of the following Quick Install Manual. Are they
the same?

Then in the Quick Install Kolab Server 1.0 Beta2 section I have to download
files from yet another location:

ftp://master.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/server/kolab/kolab-current

This location contains yet another QIM it says it's Quick Install Manual Kolab
Server 1.0 Beta1 but since it's in current I thought this was the current
QIM. So I used this one.

I'll start over with the Quick Install Kolab Server 1.0 Beta2 to see how this
goes. Maybe it's a good idea to put beta2.1 in the directory that was
anounced on the mailinglist. What's in this directory anyway?

>the QIM states that.
>Sorry, it changed during the project

No need to be sorry :o)

So after my list of comlaints I'd like to add that I'm looking forward to the
release and thank you for the timely response. I'll let you know if it works
out this time

kind regards,
