often Qt is found automagically, but for RHL9 i had to use at least
something like --qtdir=/usr.
I didnt have the libjpeg problem on RHL9, might be different for 8 though.
The hint about the config.log should be taken seriously, as e.g. not
having a c++ compiler also gives warnings about Qt, so its rather
confusing sometimes when you only look at the initial errors.
