[Kroupware] scope of the project

Hi,

I am wondering if the project also aims to enable web developers to
integrate their applications into the Kroupware "world".

Like being able to extend web mailers and web calendars to also handle
invites to meetings etc.

If yes how far is this work? Any ETA?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
