Just follow the instructions at http://kolab.kde.org/howto-kolab.html
and http://kolab.kde.org/howto-kolab-kde-client.html. The Kolab server
resides in a self-contained environment. Once you have built and
installed the openpkg stuff, it will build and run without interfering
with the rest of the system.
