Hi Joe! You should file a bug about those dependency problems in KUbuntu's bug tracker. This is a packaging problem that should be solved by the distributor. Apart from this, perhaps we have some Debian (or Debian derivate) user who can give you some advice about how to get it working (sorry, I tun Gentoo ;-). Cheers, Tobias
