[KPhotoAlbum] KPhotoAlbum crashes while generating thumbnails during start

In the meantime we found out that the performance issue already happens 
with version 4.3 and is caused by excessive access to 
${IMAGEDIR}/.thumbnails/thumb-0 over the network. Johannes has entered 
an appropriate bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321437.
