Personally, I like the KISS principle -- make all steps really easy, but keep 
each step so users see the whole process. That way if someome wants to get 
more involved, he/she already knows the basics. Also, a backup-only script is 
easier to write and maintain than a do-it-all script...

Maybe someone else has other thoughts about this?
