I just switched to KDE4 few days ago and had a first look at the new
KPA4. I really like it and find the idea of stacking a _major_
improvement! Congratulations!

I'm really not a person with graphic skills, but looking at some other
apps gives good ideas.

- I like gwenview which's image browser looks really good: fancy frames
around thumbs with highlighting on mouse hovering.

- The startpage of gwenview looks much more tidier than KPA's and the
default background color looks better than KPA's black or white
(shouldn't the actual color come from KDE's theme?).

- Digikam and Google's picasa may also provide some good input. But I
don't have them installed right now, so I can't check.

hth,
- martin
