I think that it should be OK as it is done in the kipiplugin that do
GPS correlation.

by the way, i is a great plugin for GPS editing as it allow:
- automaticaly set GPS coordinate based on the date/time of the photo
and a GPS track
- allow to edit/set gphicaly the coordinate by clicking on a google-map window


a feature that would be great in KPA: display an icon on imakge that
have GPS coordidate, and when I click on it a windo with the ggogle
map of this place would be displayed (with the hability to fine tune
the position as some time the GPS correlation is a littel wrong)
