Well, this is not a complete truth :). First of all, KPA doesn't use any
SQL engine directly, everything goes through the QtSQL module.

Back in the days of Qt3, it (the excellent Qt toolikit) used sqlite
2.x.y (and had support for plenty of other SQL engines). As of Qt4, it
uses sqlite3 (and has support for plenty of other SQL engines :) ). As
this thread is about the SVN trunk version (which uses Qt4/KDE4),
Risto's situation certainly won't improve by installing sqlite2.
