That's great to hear.

Unfortunately this is outside my power.
This part of the XML file is written using KDockWidget's method.

Thanks for telling me anyway.
Jesper.

| Hi,
|
| I still had the problem with crashes when I try to save the options in the
| selection dialog. Originally I reported this as Bug
| http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70262
|
| Recompiling from CVS and also upgrading to the latest KDE-CVS-Version did not
| help (Although I really enjoy the new KDE 3.2, it seems to be already quite
| stable!).
|
| Today, by comparing a freshly generated index.xml and my old one that was
| constantly crashing, I finally was able to track down why this happened to
| me:
|
| for some reason, my database-file index.xml contained the following line under
| the tag <configWindowSetup>:
|
| <mainDockWidget>unnamed</mainDockWidget>
|
| Somehow version 1.0 or 1.0.1 of kimdaba did put "unnamed" there. This causes
| kimdaba to crash when saving the options in the selection dialog. When I
| remove the "unnamed" and make the tag "mainDockWidget" empty, kimdaba does
| not crash any more!
|
| <mainDockWidget></mainDockWidget>
|
| Maybe there is a check missing if an invalid access is done somewhere in the
| code when an unknown entry is listed under "mainDockWidget".
|
| Thanks again for Kimdaba... Dominik.
