This is a _random_ thought

I've just noticed that once contact deleted, and birthday removed from calendar
the details remain in the preview panel below the month view calendar 

closing and re-opening kontact clears the problem 

however I've just reported a refresh problem with spell check in kmail (257867)

and wonder if there's an underlying issue?
