I think I have the same problem. My recurring events keep on disappearing. At
first I thought KOrganizer just "eats" them but then I found this bug report
and searched for these recurring events. They are still there. The problem is
that the dates are messed up. The end dates are still okay, just the start
dates are now set on today (or sometimes a day in the future). I had this
problem with 4.2.4 and now also with 4.3rc1 (Kubuntu packages).
I recently updated to 4.3rc1 and when I first started KOrganizer all the
recurring events were there again, so I thought it was fixed. So I edited my
calendar a little more yesterday, everything seemed to be fine, but when I
started it today all of the recurring events were gone again (dates messed up).
