Summary: Support Hyves Kwekker IM via Jabber/XMPP - currently
                    unable to connect
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Jabber Plugin
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: subs at olan.org

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Hyves (http://hyves.nl) is a very popular social network in the Netherlands,
attracting over 15 million users.

It has an IM chat service (called Hyves Kwekker) which is based upon
XMPP/Jabber.

The API is documented here: http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIChat

Pidgin and other clients tested currently work with it, Hyves also provides a
desktop client (including a linux version).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Set up a Jabber account via Kopete.

2) Enter a hyves account using the following settings:

Username: user at hyves.nl
override default server information - selected.
Server: 94.100.119.196 Port: 5223 (without SSL: 5222)
Allow plain text password authentication - selected.
Tried with and without SSL.
Resource: Kopete Priority: 6

3) Ensure IM is not disabled on Hyves.nl via chat account settings.

3) Attempt to connect.

Actual Results:
If SSL is enabled Kopete tries to connect, and nothing happens, it just shows
it is continuously trying to connect.
If SSL is not enabled for the account an error dialogue box appears stating:
"The password was wrong. Please re-enter your password for Jabber account
user at hyves.nl"
Upon re-entering the (correct) password, the same error occurs.

Expected Results:
Kopete should connect correctly to Hyves Kwekker chat service via XMPP.
