Summary: frequent error message: there was an unrecoverable
                    error in the protocol
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: doc.evans at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Every few minutes, kopete 0.80.2 is giving me the error message "there was an
unrecoverable error in the protocol" when using jabber. No other version has
ever done this, nor does any other jabber client.

The message seems to be harmless -- kopete seems to work just fine even after
reporting this error -- but it's very annoying because it just pops up in the
middle of the screen for a few seconds every few minutes and then disappears
(it seems to bypass the regular KDE4 notification system).

Either there should be some way to configure kopete so that it doesn't report
this message, or it simply shouldn't report it at all, since it seems to be
harmless.
