I just upgraded from jaunty to karmic, which is KDE 4.3.2, Kopete 0.80.2.

This bug has suddenly started happening. I have changed nothing from a Kopete
configuration that has been working fine for ages.

It happens when Kopete starts, and also sporadically thereafter. I suggest that
this bug be re-opened; it looks like there's been a regression.
