Detlev, I'm the bug reporter. I confirm this bug (in initial description) is
still present in 4.3.0 and still very annoying because I found no way to turn
off Kopete's error notifications (gray bar, appearing at random screen
position).
Sorry, have no idea, how to turn pings on in jabberd2.
