I am also seeing this behaviour - worth noting that the error message blocks
the interface - i.e. you can't add anything in a chat window etc until you
click ok on the error.

Only seems to be an issue with Yahoo (at least, not an issue with XMPP or WLM)

(0.70.90 on KDE 4.3.0, Fedora)
