If I do click at
https://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/org2/google/gsoc2014/gentoo?ModPagespeed=noscript
onto the "irc" link (irc://irc.freenode.net/#gentoo-soc) I'd expect that just
the channel will be opened if I'm already logged in that IRC serverand watching
few Gentoo's channels.

But instead 2 new tabs will be opened each for the server and the channel.

Maybe because I configured my channels for auto-login with SSL+ registerd
username and/or hostname "chat.freenode.net" instead of "irc.freenode.net" ?
