           Summary: 1st packet byte removed after whois
           Product: konversation
           Version: 1.0.1
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konversation-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: lold0wn gmail com

Version:           1.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from:    Debian stable Packages
OS:                Linux

After you issue the /whois command, the next command to send, the first byte will be removed.

for example,
/whois test
<whois info would be here>
/msg example this is a message
[02:16] [-> example] this is a message
[02:16] [Error] RIVMSG: Unknown command.

This has disconnected me due to not being able to reply to pings. i'm not sure if it should be considered a crash or not, as it doesn't actually crash the application.
