Another thought is that we want to have a message
routing framework in the future that facilitates
the creation of meta-channels internally, for
features like writing a copy of every highlighted
line into a special tab while being away, etc.

That would also make it possible to have a super-
channel-tab that gets a copy of every line in all
channels, possibly with a [#channel] stamp in
front of them.
