This is probably off-topic, but did anyone try setting the "Global scale" to 1
and increasing only the DPI to say 160 or 192 (2x96) in the fonts kcm? I did
that (DPI 192) then increased the size of the icons, and both Qt and GTK3+ apps
seem to increase the sizes of almost all the UI elements to accommodate the
bigger text and they look fine. I saw the pictures in Christoph Culmann's blog
post: https://cullmann.io/posts/kde-qt-highdpi-scaling/ and the UI on my setup
looks very similar (I just don't have a place to upload a huge jpg/png file).

The only piece of UI that doesn't seems to scale up when I increase the DPI /
font size are checkboxes, which is something I can live with.
