            Bug ID: 356186
Summary: Background not transparent when started with dual
                    monitor
           Product: konsole
           Version: 15.08.3
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: thomas at blueapplelane.be

When my laptop is connected to an external monitor, with my laptop screen as
second screen, newly started Konsole instances have a plain black background
instead of my usual slightly transparent one. Trying to adjust background
transparency doesn't change this.

When I disconnect the external monitor, switching back to a single screen,
Konsole stays black. However, a newly started Konsole will be transparent
again. Also, when then again switching to dual screen, this new Konsole will
stay transparent. So transparency is only influenced when starting Konsole.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect external monitor to laptop
2. Make sure dual screen is working (currently buggy with QT5/Plasma5)
3. Start a new Konsole instance

Actual Results:
Konsole has a black background

Expected Results:
Konsole should have a slightly transparent background, as is the fact when I am
not using dual screen.

The dual screen connection is done with a HDMI cable. I am using the intel
drivers. NVidia blob drivers are installed but only enabled for certain
applications using bumblebee.
