I'm afraid I still don't understand. Konsole loses the selection too if you
take it away (by making a new selection elsewhere), only its display doesn't
reflect this fact. What I want is that the display does reflect the loss of
selection, so as to not be misleading. Do you really find it annoying if the
display reflects the actual loss of selection? Or is it something else?
