I don't know about your input method but I have the mouse in the konsole with
lots of tabs. Ibus is running. If I hold down ctrl-d... everything dies after
just a few tab removals. I do not do anything special. My system is Fedora
x86_64 running KDE and is as up to date as I can make it.
