Thanks for your detailed report.  I does notice a pattern there : all those
duplicated actions are contained in sessionui.rc in the source code. 

Other common points between your report and Atis's :

  *  Both happen after the system or konsole run continuously for a long time
  *  Both use the Ubuntu distribution.
