[Konsole-devel] Konsole select and paste broken?

A search seemed to show up very old reports, but nothing new - but select and
paste seems to be totally broken, at least on KDE Ububtu 9.04

Restarting X server and then konsole will allow left-mouse select and
middle-mouse paste work. But within a few minutes, it stops working - can
select, but not paste. Exiting and restarting X server fixes it for a
minute or two.
Other applications work fine - firefox, xterm, etc
