No, my case is not a different bug, at least as I understand this initial
report here. The problem is not in _pasting_ to konsole, but in _copying_ from
konsole.
I will type spaces as "*" and the newline as "+" in this example: When copying
(by just selecting the output with the mouse) the following from konsole:
filenum1 \+
file2 \+
file3+
... you get something like:
filenum1 \****+
file2 \*******+
file3*********+
When pasting this again with the middle mouse the backslash will have no
effect, but it should have escaped the newline at the end.
Copying from gnome-terminal into konsole is no problem.
