You're likely to never get "latest" in RH. If you're not wedded to RH, 
however, there is always Fedora :-). I've been building trunk on that 
for quite some time; you might even get away with building only Konsole 
there (since you'll have recent qt, kdelibs, etc.). I believe there are 
also trunk snapshot RPM's for Fedora floating around somewhere.
