Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120
KDE: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101))
kdelibs svn rev. 904849 / kdebase svn rev. 904849
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10

I can't reproduce the bug ( even holding SHift+Right for 10 seconds) .
Are you using a non-default settings, how tabs do you have when you reproduce
the bug ? Is any program running inside Konsole ?

After the "keyboard hang" , can you click on the menus or something ? (may be
not only the keyboard doesn't work but the whole app is hang)
