After renaming the session either by pressing 'Alt+Ctrl+S' or selecting "Rename Session..." from the context pop-up menu, the mouse pointer disappears when the mouse moves over text region of the Konsole window.  The pointer is still visible when over the scroll bar, toolbar, window title.  And, the pointer is visible if the context pop-up menu is activated by right-clicking in the text region of the window.
