Thanks, I now have it flashing indeed :-)

It seems to work mostly allright although with some fonts I notice that the 
red part becomes larger (higher) with the first blink. I have seen that 
problem before and that seems to be related that the metrics of the font 
somehow don't match with the line-spacing used.

The problem is very visible when you manually increase the line-spacing to 
e.g. "8".

But Tony actually seems to say that the other text becomes bolder. I haven't 
seen that happening.
