I'm using the exact same version of konsole, yet I cann't reproduce the 
bug. By the way, here is, I believe, the settings that cause the broken 
link flashing:

Give it a try :)
BTW, I'm using Mandrake 8.1, and the above is the default setting for 
"ls" formatting.
