[Konsole-devel] Bug#45738: final line truncated in konsole when positional geometry specified
bts at babbleon.org
bts at babbleon.org
Thu Jul 25 13:14:51 UTC 2002
Package: konsole
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc
OS: FreeBSD
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
If I just bring up a konsole window with "konsole" from a konsole window or from the menu or the button, it's fine.
But if I bring it up with konsole -geometry +1+1 then the size of the konsole isn't quite right--the descenders on the last line of the konsole are cut off (so the j looks more like an i, for example).
I have worked around it by changing my aliases and such that pop up konsoles at particular locations to specify the size as well as the position, but I shouldn't have to do this.
I have console set up so that it does *not* show the tabs at the bottom of the window, which I suspect has some connection with the bug. I also use the "medium" font in case that matters.
Feel free to contact me if you have trouble reproducing this or you'd like a screen capture to show what I'm talking about.
