Remove the line that starts with X-DCOP from the associated .desktop file. =
It=20
would help if Mandrake took the time to test the changes that they made.

  When the console is open I can do nothing on the desktop, no opening other programs, no clicking on icons, no response from the K menu, nothing.  When I close the Konsole I get this message in a 'sorry- KDE Panel'  "KDEInit could not launch 'konsole-noxft'"
