konq/e with shared library support

Hi , 
 
 
 i had somehow compiled konq/e with shared library support. but the resultant file is not an executable file but its and object file. i did file command and got the following:
 
 # file konqueror
 konqueror: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, MIPS, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped.
 
 i configured with following option:
 
    
./configure --host mipsel-linux-uclibc --disable-debug 
--enable-shared --disable-static --enable-qt-embedded 
--enable-embedded 
--with-qt-dir=/home/linuxau1200/dynamicbuild/qt-embedded-free-3.3.5/ 
-without-ssl --disable-printing --disable-pcre LDFLAGS="-shared" 
CFLAGS="-D__linux__ -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT" CXXFLAGS="-D__linux__ -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT" "CPPFLAGS=-D__linux__ -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT" --with-extra-libs=/home/linuxau1200/oldbuildroot/gdbbuildroot/buildroot/build_mipsel/staging_dir/lib/ -
-with-extra-includes=/home/linuxau1200/oldbuildroot/gdbbuildroot/buildroot/build_mipsel/staging_dir/include/
i could not figure out as to why it created object file rather than executable file.
 
 can anyone provide me any suggestions or solutions for this ?
