hi,
konqueror/e is a qte application.  The first qte application should be
started with -qws command line.
so you should use command as follows:
./konqueror -qws

But qte application will open linux frame buffer to work.
You maybe should compile a qvfb(qt virtual frame buffer) to let qte
application connect to a virtual frame buffer.

so all the things you should to :
compile a x11 version qt  which includes  a qvfb in tools/qvfb.
compile a embeded qte . use the -qvfb option of "configure"
start qvfb use command line : ./qvfb
start konqueror use command line : ./konqueror -qws
and you need to start a Xserver(such as cygwin's xwin)  to execute qvfb and
konqueror.
