cache settings in konq/e

hi ,

can anyone say me what does the folllowing variable stands for:

#define DEFAULT_CACHE_EXPIRE            3*60        
#define DEFAULT_CLEAN_CACHE_INTERVAL    30*60           // 30 MINS

in the file http_slave_defaults.h ?

will the datas in the cache expires after 3 minutes  ? if yes what  is the use of DEFAULT_MAX_CACHE_AGE ?

And will the browser cleans the cache itself after the duration specified by the  DEFAULT_CLEAN_CACHE_INTERVAL ?

can anyone say me how to deal with the cache ? for example if we browse many pages ,they will be stored in the temporary file folder and when that limit execeeds the cache size limit what will happen ? will the browser cleans itself ? realy i got stuck with this problem for the past two weeks. stil could not find solutions to this . can anyone plese help me ?
