Using a proxy server

Hi,

I'm using konq-embedded (snapshot 20030705-r3) on an ipaq and I'm trying
to get it to use a proxy server located on the device. I've tried setting
proxy preferences to http://localhost:5000/, I've tried export
HTTP_PROXY=http://localhost:5000/, and I've tried editing the konq-embedrc
file to include:

[Network Settings]
HTTPProxyServer=http://localhost:5000/

But none of that works. I've tried moving the proxy to another computer
and that doesn't work.

Can anyone help?
