configure problem - cann't find lqte

Hi

I am using qt/e 2.3.9, qpe 2.1.10. Both compiled and
worked fine in our taget embedded system. Now Trying
to build Konq/e
(konqueror-embedded-snapshot-20030705.tar.gz), I am
stucked even in the configure phase. It complains:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 2.2.2)
(library qte) not 
found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end
of config.log.


The configure command is as follows:  

./configure --enable-static --disable-shared
-enable-qt-embedded  
--disable-debug --with-qtopia-dir=$QPEDIR
--build=i686-linux 
--host=arm-linux --prefix=$QPEDIR/image/opt/Qtopia  
--with-qt-libraries=$QPEDIR/image/opt/Qtopia/lib
-without-ssl 
--with-qt-includes=/home/DESIGN/zs2652/Qtopia_eval_version/qt-2.3.9/include

--with-qt-dir=/home/DESIGN/zs2652/Qtopia_eval_version/qt-2.3.9



looking at config.log, we saw:
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible 
/home/DESIGN/zs2652/Qtopia_eval_version/qt-2.3.9/lib/libqte.so
when searching for -lqte
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible 
/home/DESIGN/zs2652/Qtopia_eval_version/qt-2.3.9/lib/libqte.a
when searching for -lqte
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible 
/home/DESIGN/zs2652/Qtopia_eval_version/qt-2.3.9/lib/libqte.so

Could you let me know the reasons? Is it because the
version for qt not right?

Please advise ASAP.
