How to switch off metadata in bookmarks.xml

Hello,

I am just wondering how I can switch off the metadata information in the 
bookmarks.xml file. I want to do this, because I manage my bookmarks with CVS 
which generates many merge conflicts within the metadata (especially the 
time_visited field :-(

 <metadata>
  <time_added>1076281660</time_added>
  <time_visited>1075555428</time_visited>
  <visit_count>4</visit_count>
 </metadata>
</info>
