About charset support in web pages

I'm using Konqueoror/embeded on an IPAQ runnig Familliar Linux 0.7.1 with
OPIE-1.0.0. 

The Konqueror/embeded that's part of OPIE seems to only support
webpages that are in the iso-8859-1 charset. I need to view web pages in
cyrillic (utf-8, windows-1251 and iso-8859-5).

Is this a limitation of konqueror/embeded, konqueror/embeded for IPAQ,
or this particular build of mine.
