Wow!

I don't intend to run the Macromedia provided plugin but build one based
on
freely available sources even if it doesn't support all the bells and
whistles of Flash 5. For Linux Macromedia only provides a binary version
for
desktop i386 systems that is already linked against X+Xt. They also have
sources for the latest version (currently 5.5) but you have to sign your
soul for them and the resulting pluging is quite big for an embedded
system.

I intend to use "Flash Library for Linux" by Olivier Debon or the
SWFSource
(magick based). Another one is the much smaller player from PocketLinux.

Another plugin I want to write is for Adobe PDF files using sources from
xpdf. Oh, yes, text/plain would be also quite useful.

I did about the same :)

I asked because I noticed you called KLibLoader to register the library
and
its init point. I lost about 30' tracing the program flow before
realising
KTrader::OfferList is never called. The unfortunate absence of the
trader
parse tree makes adding filters even more difficult.
