I just tried to switch the option to not use enter to move between 
fields. Enter and Shift-Enter then allow me to enter a linebreak - Alt-
Enter still does not.

I never used appimage, so I'd have to learn how to use it.

There is not a single entry with enter.
I already checked that.
Same for the shortcuts within kmymoney.
But: Typing Alt-Enter shows the message "You are already editing a 
transaction in another view." ..."
