4.8.4 is quite old, you can get the latest Windows release from the link 
below:

https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/KMyMoney_Release_win64/

I suggest you backup your kmymoney file first, just to be safe.

If it still is happening, I'm sure someone that runs Windows will chime in,
