KMyMoney crashing on Neon 18.04

Ran as requested and KMM started with Did You Know msg box separate to the set-up page which looked hopeful.
However the DYK box was unresponsive to any mouse action whereas the Account set-up page worked as expected. I selected Cancel from this screen which brought the standard KMM main page from which I selected File / Exit.

My default start to every new KMM installation is to deselect the DYK msg box. Run the appimage again and DYK is active and responsive but the crash still occurs.
