working with reports : is there a finer grain possible for accounts selection ?

Thanks Jack.
"you can select any set of accounts, any set of categories." : yes I can,
but I don't find any possilibility of un-selecting them while keeping their
amount in there main category.
Please have a look to the a rough example attached : I have made a report
with the amounts for "checking account", "pety cash" and "savings
accounts". The trouble is that if I choose NOT to show them in my report,
the main account "assets" is set to... 0 instead of the sum of the 3 hidden
accounts that are sub accounts of "assets". All I can do is take my pocket
calculator to make the sum... Unless I missed something !
