Ignoring the first part of your question, when you say "When I looked at 
the stock and currency prices there were two strange
entries for SNMM (another money market fund) and AGMM as currencies.", 
is that within KMM data, or external?  If internal, what happens if you 
delete them, or are they actually needed elsewhere?

Or, save your file as XML and see where they are mentioned.  Take care 
id editing the file.  Take backup first.
