What I do is create a category for each car that I own. Under that I
have subcategories for Fuel & oil, Servicing, Fees, Insurance, etc.
It gives a much more granular view for reports and budgets, and when I
sell the car I just stop using that category, and create a new
category hierarchy for the new car. The historical information is
still in the file, so I can compare the costs of running the two cars.
